What trends are gonna make a comeback and what trends are we gonna take with us from 2020? The aesthetic fashion trends change every few months and it’s hard to keep up. However, some of these trends we have seen before! Some trends are new but some are still sticking since 2020. But let me tell you, it keeps getting more interesting every few months!
Matching cardigans
Something I don’t have to tell you is that cardigans were very in in 2020. They came in all prints and sizes. One of the trends this spring is actually a cardigan with a matching top! You may have seen this in the stores lately, it’s not like we’ve seen in 2020 but it is worming it’s way in unnoticed. It’s new but also kind of the same.
This is a cute example! This cute cardigan with matching top is from Shein and available in a lot of cute colours!

Another really cute example from Shein! This one is a bit more fluffy, and the colour is sooo cute!! This one isn’t available in other colours and it is a one size. But again, it’s sooo cute!

Oversized pants
I think we’ve all seen these by now as well. Baggy oversized pants and jeans, they’re all over my Pinterest homepage. To be honest, I can’t get enough of these either. For some reason they look so cool and stylish and I’m not the only one that thinks so. These oversized pants have been trending for months now but the hype is definitely not over yet. We will see a lot of these in 2021 as well!

Colour block pants/tops
I’m not sure what to call these but they’re definitely something! This already showed up in the last few months but I think we need some more time to get used to it. These colour block items are definitely something we haven’t seen before. You either like it or you don’t. However, they can make a very cute and interesting outfit. You will definitely catch everybody’s eyes when you walk into a room with these items.
This is a good example of this fun trend. They really come in all patterns, colours and prints. Some are more neutral with 2 similar colours but you also have plenty like these from Shein!

For pants it is the same story, they come in ALL patterns, colours and prints. I’ll give you an example that is a little less ‘out there’. You also have these a little less ‘intense’ which are made of denim. You can find those with dark and light denim or maybe with denim and cow print… You really have a lot of different options but I’ll keep it to one.
This is one of the more popular ones. You also see this a lot with brown colours and also in denim. These pants are from Yesstyle and are also available in denim if that’s more your style.

Asymmetrical jeans
This is something I’ve only seen a few times lately but I think it’ll definitely be a bigger trend soon! This involves pants again but this one is a little less ‘over the top’. Personally I think this trend is so cute and I actually bought a pair like these myself! I don’t know how they think of something like this but I’m glad they did.
This one I have myself and it’s super cute! These pants are from Soulmia, a less known brand but I checked them out in a video and they have pretty good clothes! They look really good and they’re super comfy!

These jeans from Shein are also really cute! They look really good and it has good reviews as well. They’re also wide leg jeans so you hop on 2 trends at the same time! However, these jeans are only available in black.

Cut-out cropped sweater
I’m not sure if I’m a fan of this trend but sometimes it can look really good if you style this right. This really is a next level crop-top though, omg. I don’t how someone thought of designing this but apparently it is interesting enough to make it a trend.
This first example is from Shein. The people who bought this item seem to like it, there are many good reviews on this one. This sweater is also available in black. It’s pretty cheap but how could it be expensive for that amount of fabric!

If I had to pick between the two, I’d pick this one from Yesstyle. This one is actually still long in the back instead of really cropped. This one is a little bit warmer and more appropriate to wear in the winter. The top is also available!

Fun prints
The last trend is fun prints! Prints like cow print and flowers were already very in last year but we’re not done with those yet, and there are actually many more this year! One that is starting to pop up more is the lightning print, tie-dye is also starting to get more popular again and animal prints are also coming back! You actually see most of these in pants instead of tops!
